While the STEAM Team was settled in Rathangan, Ireland they were tasked with assisting in improving and emphasizing the town of Rathangan's Tidy Town application. The group spent a week with the community working to address their challenge using the Design Thinking approach.

SuperValu Tidy Towns
Tidy Towns is an annual competition, first held in 1958, organized by the Department of the Environment, Community, and Local Government in order to honor the tidiest and most attractive cities, towns and villages in Ireland. This national competition covers many aspects of the environment, including nine specific areas of environmental cleanliness and care, and prizes are awarded to winners of all areas.
